Requesting a Catalog Item
The catalog is managed entirely by the BMR team. You don't add or edit items yourself — you request an addition, and BMR builds the complete entry: the data, the 3D models, and any ports or devices.
This page is the checklist: exactly what to send us so an item can be added, broken down by category.
You don't need to format anything or fill in a form. A datasheet, a product-page link, or a few lines in an email is enough — BMR structures the data and builds the 3D model. The lists below just make sure nothing essential is missing, so your item can be added without back-and-forth.
What we always need
The essentials that identify and size any component:

What we need by category
Video collaboration & AV devices
Displays, video bars, codecs, cameras, microphones, speakers, control devices, boards, audio/video extenders & converters, other AV gear.

Acoustic treatment
Acoustic panels, clouds, bass traps.

No extra fields — the essentials above cover it: dimensions, colour, material, and where it stands.

What BMR handles — you don't send these
- The 3D models — GLB for BMR Studio and USDZ for AR — built to our 3D Model Standards
- Placement of ports and devices on the model (see Ports & Devices)
- The internal identifier and all catalog wiring
- Catalog images, which we can usually pull from the product page
If you already have a 3D model, send it too — we'll check it against the 3D Model Standards before publishing.
How to send a request
Use Send Feedback — Report an Issue in the Web header, or Send Feedback under Settings in BMR Mobile. Attach the datasheet or link and we'll take it from there.
Today all catalog changes go through the BMR team. Self-service catalog management for organisation admins is planned, which will let admins curate their own catalogs directly.
